The Big Three: Survival Basics
Water & Humidity
Ants need access to drinking-water & humidity to ensure the colony stays healthy. Our Test Tube setups provide both of these perfectly.
Protein & Sugars
Ants need sugars for energy and protein for egg-laying and larval development.
Temperature
Being Cold-blooded (Ectotherms), you must provide your ants with suitable temperatures if necessary.
Your First Colony Lifecycle
The Founding Stage
